Hyperlapse of Amanda Nolasco after school

This is my hyper-lapse assignment that my daughter Amanda volunteered to be the subject. Right after school release she posed for more than 160 pictures which came to be about 5.5 seconds. This is one of those projects that we are going to repeat many times over again, and this time longer videos.

Art Deco Merengue

My art deco. I had a few ideas about making an art deco which represented my Dominican heritage. Here I have chosen our popular music "merengue." I like how this came out. I thought it was going to be more simple to make but it took quite a while to make each section of clothing and body parts.

Slicer web page

This is a web page built on images by alternating in Photoshop. Cutting the images into smaller sections so that uploading would be faster in all devices. I had my daughters each make a drawing and label them with each one having stories because they like to write and tell stories. As soon as I'm able to learn how to load it into a server I will be able to actually have it work and upload the stories they write.

Ice word animation

Here is an animation where the word becomes what it is. At first I was going to choose fruity and have show fruits in the letters, but the word was a little long and only got to the first three letters before I changed my mind. I'm glad I chose this word since I can make it look like the letters are really made of ice. Cool project

Infographic sheet on bodybuilding

Here is my infographic sheet. It is about bodybuilding, I wanted to make it a little funny about how ridiculous people turn when they become fitness addicted. I found my self just writing the basics since I had spent many hours trying to get my Indesign program to work. I finally figured it out and this is the outcome. I did learn how to add color to Illustrator, and still don't like it.

Here is a web site made in Word Press. I again had difficulties but was able to finish right on time. It was a little simple but just like everything else you have to learn to navigate it and know what to use in order for it to come out right. My front picture (home) came out a little too large and this why I only put a portion of it here.

A Basic Zoetrope Assignment

Here is assignment 14, a zoetrope. Basically an animation that happens when a part of the image is covered by the thick black lines. This is pretty basic, yet my inability to get Adobe Illustrator to work for me did not allow me to animate my first idea. After spending over 8 hours through out the week trying to get Illustrator to cut out the right lines, I just gave up and made this simple start animation.

Here is my web page from a template. I thought it would be perfect to make it about what I do outside of work, which is pretty much handy and creative work. I take a lot of pride from it but don't like to show off. If I do ever want to make a web site I believe this is what I would do in order to help others do their work and take pride in it.

TPCHD e-Cig poster

Here it is, my Tacoma Pierce County Health Department informational poster on e-Cigs. I used my own picture since I use it but not that much anymore. This was a good assignment which I believe simplicity would attract more viewers to read it than one with many pictures and graphics.

Here is my shapes animation. Another assignment which was very much fun to do. The point was to make some shapes and animate them with different effects.

This is my font design, I had a little difficulty at the beginning trying to accomplish the design I wanted but with practice comes perfection. This my first design and can see my self developing more fonts for personal and other uses. This was a great tool to learn for use in the digital design use since many projects require unique styles.

Here is my first youtube video uploaded ever. This is the 3D photography pop-up assignment. I found this to be very beneficial to make more videos like this for the rest of my family. It gives the pictures a more interesting point of view by having them stand as if being presented on a table or in my case a grass field. These are my girls which will enjoy very much seeing their pictures this way.

The card game assignment

This is the card game which was pretty simple to do but I took a long time on it due to having to come up with the idea of how to make it unique. This game is called The Wall, where you would play the walls as your main source. Attack with a damage card and avoid attack with a reinforcement card.

Here is my galleria assignment. This was an assignment I enjoyed doing because I learned how to do a web page that has photos in a slide. I look forward to more assignments like this. I just need to go out and take more pictures.

Assignment 5, an art piece done with a drawing tablet and pen. I again chose a barbarian which represents the game Amtgard, where people role play as medieval personas. I have drawn this sort of pictures in Adobe Photoshop by tracing a picture and adding layers of colors to give it a realistic look. I spent about four hours if not more trying to complete this piece.

This is the sticker assignment. Another assignment which I had picture sort of different in my head but the lack of Adobe Illustrator changes the outcome. It does not have text but the final product will. This emblem is supposed to say Wolf Pack, it is the symbol for the group I use to belong to in a game called Amtgard, where people dress up and role play as medieval personas. I belong to a group where most of us were barbarians wearing our bright red colors to allow for the other players know that they were against a pack member and after every victory during a battle we would howl like wolves.

Breneman's 40th (Annual) Christmas Party beer glasses design

This is my design I came up with. It was a little difficult due to not being able to remember how to work with Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to make it more visually christmassy but was only able to add lights as the sign for Christmas.

My name is Franklin also known as Frank-the-Tank, and other nick names to people I know. I am married to a beautiful woman and have three girls. I also work with all women at my job as a Human Resources Specialist.  I like to do many things from wood working, body building, mechanics, martial arts and my favorite which is arts, video, and animation. I'm already grown-up but I still would like to work with animation and cartoons.
